"A Standard of Service"

The San Fernando Valley Joint Task Force (SFV‑JTF) is a nonprofit coalition of public safety personnel serving the Greater Los Angeles Area. We are dedicated to community-focused support through a variety of services that promote safety, preparedness, and resilience.

Our primary role includes providing standby emergency medical services (EMS) at large-scale community events, as requested by local government agencies and nonprofit organizations. We also offer on-site disaster preparedness education and first aid training, equipping individuals and families with practical knowledge to stay safe in emergencies.

In the event of a major incident, the SFV‑JTF can be officially activated to assist in several critical support roles; including emergency or evacuation center management, field EMS, and evacuation assistance. All of our members are fully certified in their fields and dedicate their time, skills, and expertise to serve the people of the Los Angeles with professionalism and care.

Please note that the SFV-JTF cannot self-deploy or be called upon to serve private interests during major incidents. We can only be activated by local authorities.
